Dr. Azimi earned his medical degree as Medical Doctor (MD) from Herat Medical University and after graduation, he could pass successfully the residency program and started his work as resident doctor at plastic and burn surgery center of Eesteqlal Hospital.

Dr. Azimi, with his professional interest and dedication in the field of surgery, one of his scientific articles entitled "Assessing the Efficacy of Blepharoplasty in Afghan people residing in Kabul" has been published in one of the reputable journals and several of his new articles will be published in reputable journals.

In addition to specialized training in plastic surgery, he has completed short-term plastic surgery training courses in Pakistan and Iran. For several years, he has been participating in the congresses of plastic surgery in Pakistan every year.

So far, he has successfully performed more than 2,000 Blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, eyebrow lift, temple lift, forehead lift, dimple, cleft lip, and cleft palate and reconstructive operations.

He has received the certificate of patient care management in the ICU from China and the certificate of specialized skill in the field of cleft lip and cleft palate operations from Germany.

He is a member of the Researcher of the Department of Plastic Surgery in Afghanistan.

In his published research, he shows that he has created a new initiative in the field of plastic surgery in Blepharoplasty operation, and the results of his research show that Blepharoplasty with combination of eyebrow lift has an excellent result to those patients that the distance between the eyebrow is near to the eyelid.
